Looking forward to another successful season using Fortune Spoons in our arsenal. Regards, Robert J. Miles U.P. Charters and guide service Munising, Michigan" (906) 439-5736
"My name is Bob Miles and I used your glow spoons last year for Kings both in Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. I’ve had a lot of luck on them and probably have gone through about 20-25 of them; purchasing through both E-Bay and your website. I run a small guide service in my spare time focusing on great lakes salmon fishing and black bear hunting. I will be fishing in several other tournament this year...and I’m constantly being asked what the hot bite is. As an aside: Just had a tremendous weekend for this time of year by going 7 for 8 with the two largest biting on the “Fortunes” (one glow orange and one glow blue on a slider). Robert J. Miles.

Bob writes back:
"Well we took second place out of forty boats in the salmon division of the Memorial Day tournament in Munising on May 27th. Once again the Fortune spoons put us over the top. It was a purple glow behind a “0” glow dipsy that did the trick on two of the four fish of the day. We caught four out of six fish ranging from 5 lbs to 9 lbs on the day.
First place 30.1 lbs
2nd place, Us - 28.1 lbs
Third place 22.6 lbs
Fourth place 20.6 lbs
This is the second time we have placed in the money at this tournament. Feel free to post the picture and any comments about your spoons. Thanks, Bob Miles"
Capt Jon. shows off some nice Lake Superior fish caught on FortuneSpoons!

"Here is a picture of a few early season fish from Lake Superior. The yellow /purple glow was involved in the catching of at least a couple of these.
The Yellow/Purple spoons is great for lake trout on Lake Superior."
Thanks, Jon

Dave just wouldn't run a spoon all day. Anything but. Such disrepect to the captain I tell ya, but I gave him Super Glow after dark anyways. In the meantime I had hooked (and lost) 4 fish, all on the Purple Glow. Just couldn't keep the hooks in the hard fighting, fresh Chinooks. But I still count 1 for Dave's caught on my glowie. A good memory for Fish Guy, a night Spoons won't soon forget!
He got another salmon in about 5 minutes with his free lure.
"Hi Scott, I bought some of your blue and yellow GLOW spoons a while back on Ebay, November maybe. You asked how your spoons compared to others I was buying at the time. After the first trip out on Saturday, May 1st, I can say this: They are fantastic!!!
We ran 9 lines, 2 with your GLOW spoons, and caught a combination of 24 lakers, browns and kings. 18 of those fish were on your spoons and we finally had to take off because we had a limit of lakers and we couldn't keep them off the blue.(What a nice problem to have!) Needless to say, my fishing buddies want some Fortune Spoon "GLOWS" too!"
"We had a phenomenal weekend (June 26 & 27) limiting out with 15 fish both mornings. The kings are running large for this time of year here(quite a few between 15 and 18 pounds)and we got 7 in that category... The rest of our fish were a mixed bag of really nice Coho, Lake Trout, and Rainbows. Do you want more pics for the web site?
Fortune Spoons are mandatory on our boat. We usually run a minimum of 2 and they are the only lures that don't get changed out during the day. It's not an option! (And we work our sets and change lures a lot!) We have also caught some fish on the half black/half glow and one of the plain regular ones you sent that has a raspberry color on it."
Thanks for the pictures Tom. Good Fishing!
I've Caught some nice fish on my spoons too!
